Even though I started doing makeup on my mom when I was a kid (hello baby blue eyeshadow!) I didn’t officially become a professional makeup artist until 2013 when I started my beauty retail job. What began as a quest for a management role turned into a skincare obsessed makeup artist who wanted to create looks to suit any client that came her way. And 10 years later, I’m still feeding my passion through bridal, special event, movie makeup, and more! I find so much happiness in creating the look my client has been dreaming of in their head, and would love the opportunity to give everyone the makeup look that makes THEM feel good!

I started my makeup career a few years before getting married, so I always went by my maiden name for my makeup business. After getting married I decided to keep the “Boyden” because that’s what my business name has always been! Plus, I think it has a nice ring to it, don’t you?

I currently live just outside of northern Los Angeles in a town called La Crescenta. We’re closer to the mountains now, although we did have a great view of them in our last LA house. If you’ve known me for a while, chances are we met when I was living in Massachusetts. I’m from the south shore of MA, about 30 mins outside of Boston, and moved to LA in Feb 2020 - 3 weeks before the stay-at-home orders went into place. We love it out here and are definitely a west coast family now! And YES, I DO TRAVEL! Especially if its anywhere on the west coast - we love a good road trip :)
